Weld County approves two kinship foster-care provider contracts

The board approved the contract after a motion by Commissioner Maxey and a second by Commissioner James.
Ulrich also presented contract ID 9441 for Daniel and Jennifer LaForge, a provisional kinship foster care provider in Fort Lupton, Colorado; the board approved that contract by the same motion pattern. No public comment was recorded on either contract during the meeting.
Department staff indicated these approvals are part of routine contract processing to expand capacity for kinship foster care, and the clerk was authorized to sign the contracts as presented.
