City proclaims April 25 Arbor Day; forester promotes "tiny trees" pickup and urban canopy efforts

Councilmembers recognized the forestry team on stage for their work to maintain and expand the urban canopy. The proclamation and remarks were ceremonial; no council action was required beyond the proclamation and invitation for staff and public to continue tree-planting programs.
