Council amends agenda, approves adjusted meeting calendar and enters executive session on personnel
Summary

The council unanimously approved an amendment to remove agenda item 13(c), a first reading of an ordinance for a plat, after staff reported that contractors and engineers needed additional information before proceeding. Council members agreed the item would be brought back at a future meeting.
Later in new business the council approved changes to the meeting schedule for the remainder of the year: a single council meeting in September (Sept. 9), moving the Veterans Day meeting to Nov. 18, and one December meeting on Dec. 16; council members noted emergency meetings could be called if urgent matters arise.
At the close of the public meeting, the council voted to enter executive session to discuss personnel. The clerk conducted a roll-call vote; the minutes record eight affirmative roll-call votes to enter executive session. No motions or decisions arising from the executive session were recorded in the public portion of the meeting.
