The presenter said the franchise will use TrackMan technology in each bay, provide a lounge and a full bar (about 16 seats at the bar), operate seven days a week roughly from 6 a.m. to midnight on weekdays (with some variation on weekends), and will offer memberships, lessons and community-event space. The facility will be approximately 8,400 square feet of indoor usable space and include multi-sport bays that can host activities such as soccer or hockey for younger or non-golfing patrons.
The representative said some validated parking will be available under a lease arrangement (eight validated spaces and up to a capped number during certain hours, with access to more of the garage after a time limit), and that street parking will remain an option. The company said it is coordinating a marketing launch and will start outreach about 90 days before opening; a corporate marketing hire will assist local outreach efforts.
Board members asked about age restrictions for teenagers and whether younger kids could use bays for other sports; the presenter said minors are welcome but recommended adult accompaniment when age is below a threshold and that two special bays can host non-golf activities for children.
No formal vote was required — the appearance was part of the consent agenda — and the board welcomed the new business.
