Derby IT warns of $298,015 shortfall in E‑rate network refresh; staff to seek district funding

Vanoy said the district had previously approved $772,249.68 as the district’s portion and that the newly identified shortfall is $298,015.62.
Vanoy told the board the district had budgeted for the full amount within the five‑year capital outlay plan and that staff will return at the next meeting with a formal request to approve the additional $298,015.62 to fully fund the district’s share of the project.
No formal board action on the additional funding request was taken at the May 12 meeting; Vanoy presented the adjustment for discussion and planned a request for approval at the next board meeting.
