Homeschool approvals: The committee unanimously approved two families’ homeschool registrations after staff confirmed both families had provided the required documentation and had been previously homeschooling.
Donations accepted: The committee accepted a storage container donation from the Ranger PTO (estimated value $3,000–$4,000) to store equipment currently on stage and elsewhere; a second storage container donated by Gary Monahan to house high-school track equipment; and a $600 donation from the Amicable Church to the Tiverton High School GSA club. Committee members asked that the estimated value of donated items be recorded in the district donation records.
Ski trip approval: The committee approved the Tiverton High School Ski and Board Club’s planned trip to Wachusett. Staff said the date is not finalized and the trip will take place on a non-school day and subject to weather and snow conditions.
Votes at a glance: The consent agenda (including the enrollment report) carried unanimously. The homeschool approvals and all donation acceptances were approved by unanimous voice vote; the ski trip motion also passed unanimously.
Administrative note: Committee members asked that donation valuations be added to donation paperwork and thanked donors for supporting student activities.
