The Planning Board opened a public hearing May 8 on the Grofwood Business Center subdivision, a proposal to create a 2.24‑acre business lot fronting Collamer Road from an existing five‑acre parcel. The site was recently rezoned to Business Transition by the Town Board.
Applicant representative James Lubitz described the split of the former winery property and said that some easements will be abandoned and replaced; town staff noted they had received updated plans only shortly before the meeting and need time to review the revised easement language and final maps. One member of the public (Violet) spoke in favor of the proposal during the hearing.
The board closed the public hearing and directed staff to review the final plans and easement changes; if study of the revised documents shows no outstanding issues, the board expects to resume action at a subsequent meeting.
