Sunny Isles Beach accepts runoff results and swears in Jerry Joseph as commissioner

After the commission took the vote, Jerry Joseph took the oath of office administered by Norman Edelkoff, identified in the meeting as the city clerk. During the oath Joseph said, “I, Jerry Joseph, do solemnly swear ... that I will well and faithfully perform the duties of commissioner of the City of Sunny Isles Beach.” Earlier in the meeting, Joseph acknowledged the campaign’s difficulties and thanked his family, saying, “I have to say it's good that I have thick skin.”
