PATCHOGUE, N.Y. — The Patchogue Zoning Board approved a special permit May 6 allowing a valet parking operation at 110 North Ocean Avenue.
The applicant sought permission to operate a parking lot via valet service in a Deep New Business zoning district and presented the application to the board during the decision calendar portion of the May 6 meeting. Following a motion to approve, the board conducted a roll‑call vote and the application passed.
Board action and vote: A board member moved to approve the application; on roll call the board registered approval votes from the members present. The clerk announced the motion carried “6‑0 with 1 extension” on the record. The board then moved to close the meeting.
The board did not elaborate detailed conditions on the public record during the roll call; the village planning staff will prepare the written decision and any standard permit conditions and post them in the file.
