Vice Mayor Hutchison said the appearance and wording of directional signage is important to avoid confusing drivers (she noted complaints about signs that begin with “No parking” at other valet locations). Council members asked that the city and the playhouse report back promptly if operational problems emerge during the pilot period.
Councilmember Peneman moved approval of the Barton plan; Councilmember Barton seconded. The motion passed unanimously.
