Weinberg said the applicant will add handicap-accessible entrances and striping on both levels in the next set of plans. The board and staff discussed submission logistics: the village requires three sets of printed plans to distribute, and an escrow of $3,500 payable to the village was confirmed to cover planner review costs.
Weinberg also said drainage-agency correspondence had begun; one comment letter had been received and more were expected, and he asked the board to open the public hearing at next month’s meeting. The board moved and unanimously approved setting the public hearing for April 23.
Next steps: Applicant must submit the required plan sets and the $3,500 escrow check to the village so staff can forward materials to the planner and county reviewers; the board will consider agency comments and public testimony at the April 23 hearing.
