Executive Director Theresa told the board the applications will be submitted to HUD and that the projects may be carried into the village budget timeline so construction can be scheduled.

Most of the discussion focused on procurement and funding timing. The board approved proceeding with the estimate and the FY2025 CDA budget pending the village’s approval of the additional funds; David (staff member) will manage contractor scheduling and resident notification once the contract is on the calendar.
Board members discussed notifying affected residents on South Ocean Avenue while work proceeds; the board agreed staff should place a notice on the village website and consider targeted letters to the immediate block.
