Board hears staff: district employees will stay on payroll amid Aramark food-service agreement

Myers said, “If they're district employees, they'll remain district employees.” He added that employees who were T&G (temporary or vendor employees) would move to Aramark in June as part of the transition.
A board member asked whether the contract is a one-year agreement renewable for up to four years; staff confirmed that it is a 1-year contract with renewal options over four years. The workshop recorded the presentation; the item was listed on the consent agenda for later action in the regular meeting.
