Cascade County commissioners approved a $45,700 contract with Montana Materials and Construction to resurface the Executive Plaza parking lot at 121 Fourth Street North in Great Falls.
Public Works staff said the scope includes milling and patching bad spots, removing and disposing of 35 parking blocks, placing a 2-inch asphalt overlay, installing 35 new parking blocks and restriping the lot. Two estimates were presented: United Materials ($57,900) and Montana Materials and Construction ($45,700). Staff recommended awarding the work to Montana Materials and instructed the county to complete contracting.
A commissioner moved to approve Contract 25-49 and direct staff to finalize the contract; the motion carried by voice vote with all commissioners present voting aye.
