President Freeman clarified a recent staffing question tied to the foundation leadership transition. She said the university approved one university‑supported position at a salary lower than the prior vice president role; the foundation will carry the CEO responsibilities separate from university payroll. That clarification, Freeman said, explains why the university’s contract amount with the foundation did not increase despite the leadership change.
Trustee Eric Wasowitz moved approval; Trustee Rita Athas seconded. The committee voted in favor.
