At its February 2025 session, Dayton City Council approved the consent agenda after a council member moved to accept it with corrections to the minutes from the previous meeting.
“I move that we accept the consent agenda as presented with corrections to the minutes from last month's meeting. They show, Miss Barton and myself are absent from the meeting, but the system inadvertently put us as voting on that agenda. So we just need those corrections made and then everything else is good,” a council member said.
Another council member seconded the motion. The mayor called for a voice vote, and members responded “aye.” The mayor declared the consent agenda passed. The motion included only the minutes correction as described; no additional roll-call votes or separate motions were recorded in the transcript for this consent action.
