The presenter clarified, "this is not approving the PID; this is just saying we're going to have a hearing" and that the council will vote on PID creation at a later meeting.
Council accepted the petition and authorized required legal notice for the hearing. No change to development agreements or final PID formation occurred at this meeting; the action was to accept the petition for filing and call the hearing required by law.
