Senate Judiciary Committee recommends governor appointment, favorably reports Senate Bill 155 and holds hearing for House Bill 55

The Senate Judiciary Committee moved three procedural items forward during a brief session: it recommended a gubernatorial appointment to the Ohio Organized Crime Investigation Commission, favorably reported Senate Bill 155 to the committee on rules and reference, and held the hearing record open for House Bill 55 with no testimony.

Vice Chair Reynolds then moved that Senate Bill 155 be favorably reported to the committee on rules and reference. The committee recorded sufficient votes and the bill was favorably reported; the chair noted the roll would remain open until 11 a.m. The committee recorded that it did not receive testimony on Senate Bill 155 and that this session stands as the hearing for that bill.

The committee also called House Bill 55 for a hearing; no testimony was received and the committee recorded that the hearing stood. With no further business, the committee adjourned.
