Ozark board votes to table indefinitely proposal to place use tax on August ballot

City Administrator Eric Johnson moved to table the resolution indefinitely; the motion was seconded and passed by roll call with six ayes. The resolution as read would have directed staff to take steps necessary to place a use tax question on the August 2025 ballot. The Board did not adopt the resolution and instead voted to remove it from active consideration for now.
The motion to table was recorded with aye votes from Aldermen Galloway, Hutchinson, Campbell, Snyder, Aiken and Metcalfe. No speaker asked for additional public hearings during the agenda time when the resolution was discussed.
