The Ozark City Board of Aldermen adopted two ordinances to annex and rezone a parcel at 6101 North 20 Third Street.
The board placed Bill 3658 on its reading by title; the ordinance would annex approximately one acre at that address into city corporate limits. Community Development Director Randall Whitman told aldermen he had nothing additional to add and that staff had received no protests. Alderman Metcalfe moved to adopt the annexation ordinance and Alderman Snyder seconded.
The board then considered Bill 3659 to change the property's zoning classification following annexation. Whitman again said there was no new information and no protests. Alderman Metcalfe moved to adopt the rezoning ordinance; Alderman Snyder seconded.
Both measures were passed on roll call with five affirmative votes and one member absent. The clerk recorded aye votes from Aldermen Hutchinson, Metcalfe, Schneider, Aiken and Galloway; Alderman Campbell was absent.
