Fertner Park master plan finalized; open house set for May 28

The commission received a brief update on the Fertner (Pertner) Park master plan: the ad hoc group that developed the draft plan finalized its recommendations at a March meeting and will host a public open house on Wednesday, May 28 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at City Hall.
Staff said park designer Ken Keitel will attend and that the draft plan will be available for public review at the open house. The ad hoc group has met roughly nine or ten times over seven months to develop the draft plan, staff said. Commissioners who participated were thanked for their time; staff encouraged commissioners and residents to attend the open house for review and comment.
