The data showed estimated deer densities falling from about 94.5 deer per square mile in 2020 to 58.8 in 2025 for the sampled areas after repeated work and coordinated culling, staff said. In one sector where large farm parcels were controlled for, the estimate fell to about 37.1 deer per square mile, staff added.
