The Dunkirk Common Council voted unanimously to enter executive session to discuss personnel matters and informed the public that no action would be taken after the session.
Council member Nichols moved and Council member Laskowiak seconded a motion to enter executive session for personnel. The clerk called the roll and the motion carried with all members recorded as ‘‘aye.’’ The council then recessed into executive session and the mayor noted the personnel director, assessor and counsel would attend in the mayor’s conference room. The presiding officer told the public they did not need to remain because no public action would follow the closed meeting.
No further public business occurred on the record after the motion to enter executive session during the meeting’s public portion.
