Ingleside planning commission approves two replat requests, recommends three members for commission

The City of Ingleside Planning and Zoning Commission approved two separate two‑lot replat applications and voted to recommend three residents for appointment to fill open commission seats.

Bernardo Rodriguez, director of Development Services for the City of Ingleside, told the commission that both replat requests were minor subdivisions inside city limits and that city utilities and local infrastructure would support the proposed development. "The City of Ingleside will provide both water and wastewater utility services," Rodriguez said during the public hearings and staff presentations.

The first approval reconfigured two existing lots that face FM 1069 so the parcels would face North Street, which staff said aligns the lots with existing structures on the block. Elizabeth Brundratt of Griffith & Brundratt Surveying & Engineering spoke for applicant Leon Contreras Jr., saying the change "takes them from facing FM 1069 to facing North Street which is in line with the existing structures on the lot." City staff noted an existing structure partly on the proposed Lot 2R and said verification would be required that the building meets setbacks and the building lines shown on the proposed plat.
