MPO staff update: Title VI plan not required and transportation planner position posted

Staff also said the MPO has posted a second staff position, a transportation planner requiring a bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years’ experience; the position was live on the City of Bozeman website and closes in two weeks. Staff anticipated interviews in April and a potential start date in May.
In addition to personnel updates, staff described increased coordination with partner jurisdictions and agencies: attending joint meetings with Belgrade and MDT, participating in county and city “Safe Streets for All” planning processes, and setting regular meetings with transit leadership to improve alignment across the metropolitan planning area.
Ending: Staff invited committee members to share announcements; Neil Cardwell (Belgrade) noted an open house Thursday at Belgrade City Hall for a Transportation Alternatives Program project and encouraged local participation.
