The Oldsmar City Council on April 1 approved a package of routine items and a handful of resolutions by voice vote.
The council adopted Resolution 2025-10 designating Mayor Katie Gannon as chair and Vice Mayor Graber as vice chair of the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA). The document repealed the prior resolution and aligned CRA leadership following the recent election.
The council approved the consent docket, which included minutes from prior meetings, a work order for local limits assessment consulting with Black & Veatch, award of a sludge hauling and disposal contract to Appalachian Material Services, contract and purchasing approvals for fire-rescue cabinetry and fire apparatus refurbishment through cooperative agreements, and renewal of an ERP system sales and license agreement. Specific contract numbers and cooperative procurement references were read into the record by the city clerk.
Separately, council approved Resolution 2025-09 revising the fiscal year 2024-25 budget (see separate coverage) and voted to reschedule the first September budget hearing to Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2025 to meet TRIM compliance requirements.
