City Council approves facility-use renewal, extends storm-damage fee waivers and makes several appointments

The extended waiver period is effective from September 24, 2024, through June 1, 2025, in order to coincide with Pinellas County's established date; the council repealed the earlier, 100-day waiver resolution upon adoption.
Other approved items on the consent docket included approval of the Feb. 18, 2025 council meeting minutes and reappointments of Peggy Allison and Rita Clark to the Code Enforcement Board. The council also appointed resident Kathy Minter to the Noise Abatement Working Group and approved a small addition to the tentative March agenda to consider recognizing the Kumar family for contributions to Veterans Park.
