Councilor Bond moved to enter the executive session; Councilor Gibbs seconded, and the motion was approved. The council recessed into closed session shortly thereafter.
After the executive session the council reconvened in public and reported that action had been taken while it was closed. Councilor Baughn moved to record that action; Councilor Gibbs seconded. A roll-call vote recorded affirmative votes from Councilors Baughn, Gibbs, Salazar, Foley, Evans, Town and Pauline (as read aloud during the roll call). The mayor called the meeting shortly afterward.
