- Ordinance 2025-O4-14-1: First and only reading and approval of an ordinance amending fiscal year 2024 budgets for the general fund, water and sewer fund, and special revenue fund to temporarily transfer funds into a FEMA-related special revenue fund pending reimbursement. Motion to approve passed 6-0. Staff said the transfer will be reversed upon FEMA reimbursement for a 2019 elevation grant currently in the Texas Water Development Board and FEMA queues.
- Parks & Recreation Board appointment: Kimberly (Kim) Clark was appointed to fill a vacancy on the Parks & Recreation Board. Motion to appoint passed 6-0.
- NASA Area Management Board appointment: Carl Little was appointed to the NASA Area Management Board. Motion to appoint passed 6-0.
- Joint election services contract with Harris County: Council approved and authorized a contract with Harris County to provide election services for the May 3, 2025 general and special election and included the contract's required designations of county officials. Motion to approve passed 6-0.
Each motion was made, seconded and called for vote during the open session; council then recessed for executive session on litigation and economic development matters.
