A developer representing Davis Hill Development presented a proposed 2.7‑megawatt community solar project on a roughly 12‑acre part of a 90‑acre parcel at 8209 Daisy Lane and answered questions about buffering, noise, interconnection and subscriber rules.

Chad Sutherland, speaking for Davis Hill, described the planned array as 6,448 modules on single‑axis trackers, a Virginia Department of Conservation (DCR) pollinator‑habitat scorecard effort, and a subscription model (Virginia “shared solar”) that dedicates at least 30% of subscriptions to low‑ and moderate‑income households.
