HHS staff replied that Sourcewell earns funds through contract management and vendor services and that the impact funding program is a mechanism for Sourcewell to reinvest in the region.
The board voted to approve the resolution in support of seeking Sourcewell impact funding. Staff said the resolution is part of the application packet and that approval does not commit the county to any immediate fiscal obligation; it signals local support for the Region 5 application.
