Todd County accepts $12,000 Crow Wing watershed septic upgrade funding

County planning and zoning staff explained the money is allocated for septic system upgrades for qualifying landowners in the Crow Wing watershed portion of the county. Staff said funds are already committed to an applicant; the vote authorizes access to the money so the county can proceed with the planned upgrade.
Commissioners asked whether the funding is restricted to landowners within the Crow Wing watershed; staff confirmed it is. The motion to approve the agreement passed unanimously.
