Board adopts revised land-development and building-inspection fees after no public speakers at hearing

The Fauquier County Board of Supervisors adopted a revision to the Department of Community Development's land-development fee schedule and building and inspection fee schedule as part of the FY2026 budget process.
County staff reported that a public hearing on the fee changes was held March 20 at Fauquier High School and that there were no speakers on the item. The board moved, seconded and approved the resolution without further discussion.
County staff present said Miss Mead was available to answer additional questions; none were raised during the vote and the motion carried.
