The proclamation urged community members "to renew our pledge to protect, improve, and beautify our natural surroundings." City staff announced the tree-planting at Wilson Park on Friday, April 25, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. and invited the public to attend.
The proclamation is ceremonial action by council and was read during the communications and presentations portion of the meeting.
