Board revokes license of Stephanie A. Parisi in memorandum of decision

Department counsel presented the memorandum of decision (MOD) for Parisi, which the department said recommends revocation. Attorney Joelle Newton indicated the MOD "speaks for itself" and that department members had provided the packet to the board in advance.
Board member Cindy Arpin said the record indicates a long history of problems that the respondent must address before safely returning to nursing work. "They have a long history of problems that they really need to address before they can safely work as a nurse," Arpin said during the discussion. Camille Payne agreed the MOD was the board’s appropriate recourse.
Cindy Arpin moved to accept the MOD; Camille Payne seconded. On roll call the board recorded four votes in favor and one abstention (Elizabeth Rivera Rodriguez). The memorandum of decision was accepted and the revocation recorded in the meeting minutes.
