Belton council adopts minutes, approves ETJ release and adds Tyler Ridge Belton to city ETJ

At its May 13 meeting the Belton City Council approved its consent agenda items by unanimous vote, enacting minutes from prior meetings and taking two land-jurisdiction actions related to the city’s extraterritorial jurisdiction (ETJ).
The council adopted minutes for the April 22 regular meeting and the April 29 special-called meeting. It then approved a resolution authorizing the release of approximately 2.7 acres owned by Jeff Poole, situated in Abstract 554 of the Madrigal survey, located generally east of Toll Bridal Road and north of Elmer King Road, from the city’s ETJ.
The council also adopted an ordinance adding Tyler Ridge Belton, approximately 13.4 acres located generally east of Hubbard Branch addition on FM 436 (Holland Road), to the city of Belton’s ETJ.
A council member moved to approve consent agenda items 12 through 14; the motion carried 6-0. The actions update the city’s ETJ mapping and records for the referenced properties.
