Alternates named included Mary David (alternate 2, term to 02/28/2026) and Matthew Halbert (alternate 3, term to 02/28/2027). Staff noted the committee composition rules require at least one municipal official and at least one resident; council discussed nuances in the ordinance about resident versus organizational representatives and asked the advisory group to review language so it aligns with other boards and commissions.
A council member moved and seconded a resolution appointing the named individuals; the motion passed by raised-hand vote and staff said they would update the resolution language to reflect the final slate.
