Executive secretary Miss Callister reported at the April 16 meeting that the Board of Zoning Appeals approved two special exceptions on April 15 for developments on parcels with less than 50 feet of frontage at the addresses stated in the staff report.
Miss Callister told commissioners the two addresses listed in the staff report were “115420 Fifth Street” and “122320 Sixth Street” (as spoken in the meeting transcript). She also said the Planning Commission will hear two conditional use permit applications on May 7: an auto body and paint shop at 11408 Jefferson Avenue, and an automobile gasoline supply station in conjunction with a retail warehouse at addresses read aloud in the staff report (transcript text unclear). Callister noted recent local press coverage and said that, as reported in the paper that day, the retail warehouse project is associated with Costco.
She reminded commissioners that a work session on the comprehensive plan update will follow the May 7 Planning Commission meeting and that the work session will start immediately after the meeting on the 10th floor at Camp Morrison.
Miss Callister’s report was informational; no formal action was taken on these items at the April 16 meeting.
