Council approves amended professional services agreement to add TERS consulting for Rolling Meadows project

Kirk McDaniel presented a resolution that the Seagoville City Council approved to amend and restate a professional services/reimbursement agreement with the Rolling Meadows Development Corporation to add consulting expenses tied to the developer's request for a TERS, described in materials as a "Tax Incrementary Investment Zone." "The item that's on the agenda ahead of you now is a resolution that would be approving an amended and restated, professional services agreement with the Rolling Meadows Development Corporation," McDaniel said.

McDaniel told the council the amended agreement adds TERS‑related consulting expenses that were not in the previous version and that the city has used the same type of tax‑increment incentive before for the Santorini development. He told council members that "you may see a development agreement potentially on the agenda" this summer as negotiations continue.
