GUNTER, Texas — The Gunter City Council appointed Christina Zelensky to Place 4 on the Main Street/MDD board on May 13.
Council interviewed Zelensky prior to the vote. She was present at the meeting and several councilmembers described her as entrepreneurial and a strong contributor. The appointment was approved by the council; the clerk recorded the vote as 4–0 among members present.
Zelensky will join the MDD board as Place 4 and participate in the board’s work on downtown and economic development initiatives.
