Coach Jamie Pearson, Harding High School head boys basketball coach, received a proclamation honoring a 20‑4 season and a January 18 milestone of reaching his 150th career coaching victory; the presentation noted regional Coach of the Year honors. The board additionally presented certificates of achievement to Ayla Longacre (first place, ninth‑through‑twelfth‑grade Martin Luther King Jr. oratorical contest) and Gabrielle/Gabriel Ross Vaness (first place, third‑through‑fifth‑grade oratorical contest) for performances at the Peace & Freedom Committee events.
The proclamations and certificates were read into the record and the board approved each by roll‑call vote.
