Commission approves final plat consolidating three Pearland Town Center lots for multifamily development

The Pearland Planning and Zoning Commission on April 7 approved a final plat to replat three Pearland Town Center lots into a single lot to accommodate a planned multifamily development.
Staff said the final plat conforms to a September 2024 preliminary plat and that there were no changes to the lot configuration since preliminary approval. The request will combine Lots 14, 15 and 16 into one approximately 13.69-acre lot and was approved 5-0.
The final plat follows an earlier Planned Development amendment that permitted a multifamily use on the property. No members of the public spoke for or against the final plat at the meeting.
Notes: case listed in the meeting file as CPL 2000 and 205-0037; general location south of Broadway Street, east of Kirby Drive and west of Business Center Drive. The commission’s approval clears the platting requirement so the owner/developer may proceed with permitting and subsequent construction steps.
