Commissioners approve technology training, vehicle purchase and payment of county bills

The commission also authorized purchase of a new 2025 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 (4‑wheel drive crew cab RST) from Hardy Automotive Group of Dallas, Georgia, in the amount of $59,099.01 for the fire department. The vehicle will replace an outgoing Tahoe and will be funded by the county’s February SPLOST allocation.
Finally, the board approved payment of the county’s bills totaling $4,148,126.24. All motions passed unanimously.
