Heart of Oregon Corps has purchased a 3.4-acre site in Redmond for a proposed central campus and asked the Redmond City Council for a public endorsement as it seeks final funding and city approvals.
The organization’s executive director, Laura Handy, told the council the purchase closed March 14 and that the campus is part of a $7,300,000 project. "Starting this fall, this fall 2025, we will construct a 6,600 square foot campus center with space to teach, meet, work, and a new courtyard," Handy said. She also told council staff and members the group has raised about 65% of the project budget and still needs about $2,500,000.
