Sharp said CourseCo has run Juniper since 2011 and outlined four company priorities: financial performance, community inclusion, environmental stewardship and stakeholder communication. He emphasized community programming at Juniper and past investments; CourseCo previously provided $100,000 in capital and agreed to another $100,000 if the contract were extended; the company now proposes $150,000 for the new term.
Tom Bugbee described phase 1 of an enhanced driving‑range project with covered bays and Toptracer technology. "We look at this as a phased approach, and what we're talking about really is phase 1 tonight," he said. He and Sharp said the technology draws new user groups, families and juniors and can be paired with community events and modest food‑and‑beverage service; CourseCo said later phases could include lighting and more permanent concessions depending on results.
City staff told council they plan to return with the contract for council feedback on specified April dates. Council thanked CourseCo for the presentation and noted staff will bring contract details back to council in April for formal consideration.
