Principal engineer Jake Sherman presented the project to council, describing the delivery method and schedule. "We are wrapping up the design of this Ninth Street extension," he said, and said the city used a progressive design-build contract with Knife River and their consultant team to allow earlier contractor involvement, constructability review and cost transparency.
