Resident says sidewalk into Chief Concomley Park remains overgrown after repeated complaints; asks city for response

She said she resubmitted the complaint in late February and followed up with an email to the city's general address; she said city staff later notified her that the complaint had been forwarded to code enforcement (McFarland), but that the sidewalk itself was not cleaned.
"So this morning, along with many days since, I walked the same route and the sidewalk is still covered in vegetation," Grabhorn said. She asked three specific questions: whether the city wants sidewalks to be clear and usable; whether the city expects residents to file complaints to prompt cleanup; and whether the city can provide a response so complainants know their concerns reached the correct person.
Mayor Joseph Haybackas told Grabhorn the city does not normally respond from the dais during public comment but said staff would follow up. "We will get you an answer," the mayor said.
City staff later promised to investigate the matter and to ensure Grabhorn receives confirmation that her complaint has been received. The transcript records one staff name, Susan Reeves, as having earlier replied by email that the complaint had been forwarded to code enforcement McFarland.
