City of Scappoose adopts FY 2025–26 budget as amended

The Scappoose Budget Committee voted unanimously to adopt the City of Scappoose fiscal year 2025——26 annual budget as amended after a budget review and several line-item clarifications.

The vote followed detailed presentations and committee questions on the street, stormwater, water and wastewater funds and a late amendment to add a capital roof replacement to the water fund. Councilor David moved to adopt the budget as amended; the motion carried on a 5-0 voice vote.
