The board also approved a Formax folding machine at New York State contract pricing for up to $13,815 (Resolution 25-00024). The board declared two damaged radar street signs surplus and authorized their disposal (Resolution 25-00029). The board authorized Millennium Strategies LLC to prepare and submit a grant application on behalf of the village to the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation for a water‑quality and improvement grant covering Spindler Wells, High Grove Wells and a vacuum truck, at a fee not to exceed $4,500, and authorized Mayor Thomas Devinko to sign the project agreement (Resolution 25-00028). The board also approved budget transfers and amendments covering $33,600.18 from the a fund and $5,317.04 from the water fund to affect necessary transfers and pay warrants (Resolution 25-00030).
In a separate measure, the board adopted a bond resolution authorizing issuance of bonds in a principal amount not to exceed $730,000 to finance construction, road improvements, drainage and paving from Route 94 up North Street to Tollman Road and work at the first driveway at Taft Elementary School (Resolution 25-00032). Recorded votes for several resolutions on the agenda showed a 4–0–1 tally (four yes, zero no, one absent) for items where the transcript captured the roll call.
The board scheduled a public hearing on Monday, May 5, 2025, at 7 p.m. at Village Hall to consider adoption of the village comprehensive plan and proposed amendments to Chapter 315 (zoning) (Resolution 25-00027).
