The Livingston Parish Master Plan Review Committee on April 7 said the road-priority list it has developed over several years has been forwarded to the parish’s transportation/infrastructure committee for inclusion in the transportation master plan.
A committee member reported, “I've already forwarded that to mister Ricky Goff for the transportation,” and said the list “will become part of their initial priority list for the transportation master plan.” The speaker said he had prepared a visual master-plan map of transportation connections and proposed improvements and planned to “bring y'all a copy” at the next meeting after some additional polishing.
Members said the infrastructure committee will incorporate the road list into its planning, and that the transportation master-plan work includes projected realignments, safe routes and intermodal connections. Committee members asked staff to circulate the visual so advisory members can review it in advance.
No formal vote was taken; staff and members agreed to share updated materials at the next meeting so the review committee can provide informed comments.
